The stereotype, of course, is that women prefer romantic comedies and men prefer action movies with an abundance of special effects. But there’s one type of movie I think we all like, no matter what our sex or age. We all like movies where justice is done, where the bad guy gets what’s coming to him and the good guy is vindicated. For example, a few years ago Lindsey Lohan starred in a movie called “Mean Girls.” It wasn’t a movie I particularly wanted to see, but I’m just the dad so I often don’t have much say about the movies we watch at home on Friday nights.
