Many believers treat our experience with God like I treated the saxophone. After being introduced to a loving Savior offering a one-way ticket to heaven, we become self-satisfied. We no longer worry about eternal punishment. When God calls us, we will be caught up in the rapture in the twinkling of an eye. However, our desire should be to pursue God as a musician pursues his music.  We must continue to know him, to build communion, and not to be lulled to sleep like the Corinthians or Eve (2 Corinthians 11:3).
