In our fourth week of the Family Matters series, Pastor Jake talked about TIME. This is the family matter that often gets in the way of all the others in our families. When you look around at the pace of our lives and the ink covering our calendars, it’s not difficult to see that we are a culture addicted to activity. Many of us are simply running our families ragged. We’re exhausted each night, wishing for more sleep as our finish line for today becomes our starting line for tomorrow with no rest between. We don’t even have time to stop and consider how busy we are. And if we ever do get time for that, we’re quick to call it a “season”, make excuses, and jump back into the same busyness that was crushing us a moment before. The truth is that busyness follows us from season to season. This is why people of every age and season of life complain about it.
