Many people amazed Jesus by their lack of faith and refusal to believe him, but this week we meet a man, a Roman Centurion of all people, who wowed Jesus in a good way – because of his faith. Your position, pedigree, people you know, and good works do not impress Jesus or earn you salvation. Only true faith does.
