Part 34 – SERIES: Lionman of Judah This week we begin studying what may be one of the most well-known and highly-regarded discourses in all of human history, Jesus’ “Sermon on the Mount”. Jesus teaches about God’s counter-cultural kingdom, and most specifically about what it means to live as his kingdom people. The sermon begins with eight statements of blessing known as “the Beatitudes”. Each time a follower of Jesus finds themselves on the front end of these statements, it is an opportunity to live God’s kingdom on this earth.
