In our fifth and final week of the Family Matters series, Pastor Jake explored the importance of operating from a forgiving heart. We have discussed how families are built for success when we place our faith in God at the center of family, when we seek to honor one another at all times, when we commit ourselves spiritually to God and our loved ones, and when we willfully guard how we prioritize our time for family and God. In spite of our greatest efforts, we all fall short in each of these areas. This means we must learn to extend grace to one another by offering forgiveness no matter what.
