Service children from RAF Leeming have progressed to the national final of the “Race For The Line” Micro:Bit model rocket car competition. The primary school pupils fought off competition from students from across the north-east to secure their place in the final round of the contest. Each team had to design & build a foam rocket car to race. The models were based on the Bloodhound Super Sonic Car, which is driven by fighter pilot Andy Green and travels at over 1000mph. Chris Kaye gets reaction from the winners.
