Virginia A. Hepner became President and Chief Executive Officer of the Woodruff Arts Center on July 1, 2012. A former corporate banker with Wachovia, she had a 25-year career with the firm including leadership roles as executive vice president and head of US Corporate Finance, and manager of the Foreign Exchange and Derivatives Trading Group. Subsequently she has served in interim director positions for a variety of non-profit organizations including The Atlanta Ballet, Brand Atlanta, Inc., and Young Audiences at the Woodruff Arts Center. She has been a business consultant and is a partner in a private real estate investment entity. Virginia is a Director of State Bank & Trust Company and State Bank Financial Corporation. Virginia has been active in community service for many years, and currently serves on the boards of The Paideia School and Endowment Boards, and the Penn Institute for Urban Research.
