In 1979 Frank A. Argenbright Jr. invested $500 to start Argenbright Security Inc. He grew the failing business into a multinational $1.3 billion company that provides a wide range of outsourced business solutions to Fortune 500 companies before selling it. Now, as CEO and founder of SecurAmerica, Argenbright oversees one of the fastest-growing security companies in the nation. Raised in Madison, FL, Argenbright earned a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Florida State University. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves, rising to the rank of captain. In 1991, he graduated from the Owner/President Management program at Harvard Business School. Argenbright was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in 1989 and 1990, and an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year winner in 1997. He currently serves on numerous civic boards and lends his expertise to many industry organizations, including the Children's Hormone Foundation and the Young President's Organization.
