Israel is a small and very tight-knit community with a love and joy of kids. Part of the economic and social vitality of Israel is the love, caring and respect for children. Jerusalem of Gold is the unofficial anthem of Israel and probably the most famous Jerusalem song written by Naomi Shemer in 1967. He explained the song's history which plays a big part in its emotional impact. Rabbi Lapin recently spotted a t-shirt that reads "Make Love Not Babies."
