Some people will not be motivated to serve God because no one has rebuked them for the sin in their life. One of the primary purposes of scripture is to reprove and correct sin so that we may be complete. How many souls will die in sin because no one pleaded with them to turn from unrighteousness and obey the gospel of Jesus Christ? Let us therefore be encouraged to reprove sin that some might be motivated and compelled to obey and serve God. He pleads with all to turn away from sin and serve Jesus, who bore it all that you might live. Why not be motivated to obey God today?
