Genesis 18:16-19 - There is no greater task given to men and women on earth by God than parenting. By parenting or child rearing, we mean the process of promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood. Unfortunately, despite its importance, parenting is hardly taught as a subject in school or even in church to everyone that may be entrusted with the task of parenting. The Bible is full of information about parenting, and in fact, God uses the imagery of parenting to describe His relationship with His people.
