Living according to the direction of the Holy Spirit occurs from the inside out. The temperature of our souls affect the actions we choose.  In order to be fit for the service of the Lord, the process we encounter happens from the inside out. An inward awareness of the alerts the Holy Spirit provides about inward inconsistencies will aid us in being fashioned for our purpose. From the busiest to most mundane, momentary dependance (or cooperating with the Holy Spirit) on the Lord is the key to a purposeful life.
