Today let us remember that often we are faced with the decision to press forward or to stay stagnant.  The inward propulsion towards 'destiny' is initiated by intrinsic motivation. That is to say: it must start from the inside of us rather than by the occurrences around us. This motivation comes from the Spirit of God and by His planted word. We must rely on what God has deposited in us to get us where we need to be. Sometimes it feels like we are kicking against a brick wall. Yet even with emotional, situational, physical, financial, and spiritual barriers, we must still choose to push towards God. We must awake with minds focus on victory even if we don't feel it. Setting our minds unswervingly to live in obedience to God. This pursuit does not presume that setbacks won't occur, but it simply means our commitment is sure.
