This Christmas season, I want to ask the question, ‘What is Christmas Really All About?’ Through the course of these next few weeks, I want to share the greatest gift of God’s Love, that He Gave the Greatest Gift, His Son for the salvation of the world. Not because we were good enough, or because we deserved it, but because He Loved! Romans 5:8 declares, ‘God demonstrated His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us’. Scripture goes on to say in I John 4:19, ‘we love Him because He first loved us. Let’s look at and ask, How Great Is His Love For Us? Once again it is not about us being good enough, as John 3:17 declares, ‘for God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved’. When you’re a child, Christmas is all about receiving gifts. In December, your head is swimming with nothing but images of your favorite toys.
