Why is faith so important in the Christian life? What is faith as referred to in scripture? Is it really important to live a life of faith if we are to live a life in Christ? In Hebrews 11:6 scripture declares, "...without FAITH, it is impossible to please God: for He that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." When you look at the word 'Please' in this passage, we find it means to be 'acceptable, pleasing and agreeable.' So if we read this passage as it is set, it would read this way, "Without faith it is impossible to be acceptable, pleasing or agreeable with God.'
