War is a fact of life -- the US has been involved in many different conflicts since the founding of this country and one thing is certain, those who are engaged in war, have no doubt who their enemies are, have a plan to defeat them, and are trained to do battle. As Christians, you and I are in a battle, but it’s a battle of a different kind. It is not a physical battle, but a spiritual one—yet it is just as real. The Bible tells us that we are “fighting against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.” So in this, we have a choice: gain or lose ground, advance or retreat, ultimately win or loose. It is a choice... to take up arms and win, or ignore the battle and ultimately lose?
