Maggie James is a British author who lives in Bristol and writes psychological suspense novels. Before turning her hand to writing, Maggie worked mainly as an accountant, with a diversion into practising as a nutritional therapist. She's best known for her thrillers, but also writes about non-fiction topics, in particular nutrition, but she has also written a book about writing, called Write Your Novel! From Getting Started to First Draft. Recently she accepted a publishing deal with Amazon's Lake Union imprint, which will involve the republication of her first novel, His Kidnapper's Shoes.
