As I have clearly stated in this series, our ‘Christian view’ of God to say the least, is tainted by the ‘Worldview’ many have of God; especially when things are going bad. Sadly many somehow see God as someone who can never be pleased and will disown us at anytime. Yet this is not the God we serve. If I could do one thing, I’d like to help each of us see God in a new and fresh way. How much he really loves us and help to understand that the love God has and gives is one that has no strings attached. A love that truly is unconditional. You see, through setting His love on you and I, God has literally and ‘voluntarily bound up’ His own final happiness with ours. And He will not know perfect and unequivocal happiness again until He has brought every one of us to heaven to be with Him. That is the expression of the love of the God we need to get to know.
