The last few weeks have seen a lot of activity, beginning with the murder of George Floyd and leading to demonstrations and riots in many American cities. There is so much to talk about here and most importantly, how the church is seen in this and the way we engage these issues. We wanted to start the debate by looking to our own hearts and calling out the ways in which political conservatism can lead us away from obedience to Christ and towards negative consequences of selfishness and self-seeking.
