1 Sam 16:1-13 - This is the story of David's anointing as the future king of Israel. The story is build around the statement from God, "for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart" found in verse seven. This is the second in an eight part series entitled, God's King: The Story of David.
