This passage we're looking at this week was written by Peter, the same Peter who in His fear denied Jesus 3 times. At that time he had become a broken man, having lost faith in himself and in Jesus and yet when he wrote this he was a man transformed, living on the margins of society, facing the possibility of persecution, and even eventually he would be crucified upside down. So what transformed Peter? What helped him to triumph in the fire?
