One In Four Podcast

This trailer is an introduction to the One in Four Podcast, a conversation series of 10 episodes on the reentry process of the formerly incarcerated in the Washington D.C. metro area, which includes the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. One in Four stands for, "one in four adult Americans has a criminal record," which means that the chances of knowing someone who has spent time in prison or jail are pretty high. The goal of this podcast is to HUMANIZE; EDUCATE; and ELEVATE the conversations about reentry of the formerly incarcerated. We want to provide an intimate platform that gives voice to the formerly incarcerated, to representative of service organizations that support and facilitate the reentry process, and to public officials who are vested in a successful transition from prison to everyday life.
