Fatiah Touray, Esq. is the Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Sarah Lawrence College.  In this capacity, Fatiah is a key member of the executive leadership team and is charged with the strategic planning and implementation of diversity throughout the institution.   Prior to this she served as the Assistant Dean of Diversity and International Students at the College of Arts and Science and Director of the Academic Achievement Program (AAP) at New York University.  She has also served multiple roles in the legal field including a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable James Jackson in the Superior Court of New Jersey and a legal consultant at the United Nations for MediaGlobal News. In addition, Fatiah is the co-founder of Progressive Education Consulting Group -a New York based consulting firm that conducts diversity training across multiple sectors.  In addition, they develop culturally relevant educational programs- enhancing schools and students.
