A lesson I learned (reluctantly) was how and when to temper my emotions and mind set. I always followed the belief that a man should put his foot down on EVERY situation he comes across. I used this tactic in my marriage and with my children. To a point, I have used this way of life to protect my family from potential dangers in the world.
