Trigger warning: descriptions of violent events. Everyone dies, and some die suddenly and senselessly. While we can’t make sense of it, we can take refuge in community and ritual. In my tradition, we chant Akaal (undying) 3 times together, to accompany the souls of our loved ones on their transition.  If you breathe, you belong here.
