When many hospitals are faced with a shortage of PPE, 3D printing communities, including e-NABLE, turned on their 3D printers to fill a urgent need. Using a NIH approved open source face shields file, e-NABLE has been producing face shields around the clock. As of the release of this episode they have delivered over 2000 shields to 59 healthcare facilities across 10 states.
