Rest In Peace to Scott Hutchison of Frightened Rabbit, and condolences to his family, friends, fans, and all who have been affected by today's very sad news. The first time I saw Novacub play live was the first time anyone saw them play live because it was their first ever gig as a band. At the time I had taken a break from the podcast and was feeling particularly low. After seeing them play I felt newly inspired to return to this daily series, come what may. I talk about this on Episode 20. During the course of our conversation in today's episode, I say that this feels like a group therapy session. And I was only half joking when I said that. There was a lot of love shared in this episode, both for fellow band members and for the process and journey that has lead them to this point.
