When he got up to the ticket person the person pressed a button and printed a boarding pass. It took 5 seconds. Jeff Turned to the growing crowd behind him and asked if I could get you a boarding pass almost immediately would you give me 5 dollars? Everyone if course said yes. To that he replied I’ll be back. The kiosks you now see in airports worldwide where you can print a boarding pass without going to the ticket person was brought to market by Jeff Hoffman.
