Craniosacral Therapy: Healing with heart for babies, for life

Informações:

Sinopsis

Sally speaks with Chris Teale, Craniosacral therapist (and physiotherapist) about the osteopathic therapy known as craniosacral therapy (CST), how it works physically, and how it also takes into account a person's emotional state. CST does not involve hard manipulations of bone structures, it focuses on the fluid structures in the spinal column and surrounding the brain, as well as the positioning of the cranial plates. Patients report an extreme relaxation response to this treatment, but it can lead to emotional releases that result in physical realignment and healing. We can benefit from CST at any age, as our cranial plates never fuse, but babies and pregnant and birthing parents in particular can benefit in many was such as turning breech babies and babies with colic and reflux. We also hear from Kimberley Lipschus about her extensive experience with using CST for many issues, such as fertility, pregnancy discomfort and positioning of the foetus for birth, as well as post birth recovery and even ADHD.NOTE
