It is our first episode of 2017, we've got Dr. LéNetta Banks back at the hosting helm with Justice Calo Reign, and we've had so much to talk about we had to break it up into a two part episode. We discus the toruture of vulnerable populations, We discuss the Golden Globes, representation in media and Meryl Streeps epic acceptance award. We also discuss Kim Burrell's challenges with preaching her views on the LGBT community in church. All leading into a conversation on identity formation and the influencing factors that shape it. Joined by Lillian Afful-Straton, a performer, model, activist, entrepreneur, and the daughter of a Ghanian Chief and a Black American mother who lived in Detroit during the height of the Civil Rights Movement.
