Have you ever heard the term, “All dressed up with nowhere to go?” Today, we are going to lay that term to rest. Once you get dressed up in Christ, there is always somewhere to go and something to do. These new clothes serve a purpose. As a Christian, you have tailored fit clothes that you are to wear. These clothes have a label/tag/badge on them, signifying where they came from and who is backing them. When you are clothed in Christ you know who you are, you know whose you are, and you know what you have. There is something to be said about a believer that is dressed up in Christ and knows how to wear these clothes. When you are dressed up in Christ, you are advertisement to the world of the event that you are coming from, the class of people that you represent, and the authority that backs you. For us to go through this life streaking – vulnerable and not knowledgeable of who we are, whose we are, and what we have – it would send the wrong message, and possibly no message at all to a world in need.
