Summer is the favourite season for many of us when we hope there will be a lot of sunshine and not too much rain. The weather forecast isn't always hopeful, but we never really know what we’re getting until it’s upon us. It’s kind of like life. We hope for sunshine, good times, happiness, plenty, comfort, convenience, for everything to go our way and to not get in our way. We dread the rain – bad times, difficulty, hardship, tragedy, and the pain, sadness, anger or despair that can come with it. And we really don’t know what to do when the storm comes and the rain starts to fall. Is it possible to really know that no matter what, rain or shine, we really will get through it, and it really will be okay? In this series, you will hear some great rain-or-shine stories, and how we can rest assured God’s got this even when we don’t.
