We Are Gateway

Most of us have probably heard the statement, “Knowledge is power.” It’s been used to promote education because the more we know, the more options and influence and potential we have. But it also refers to responsibility. The more we know, the more responsible we are to use that knowledge wisely and ethically. Canada Day is this weekend. Our country is a nation of many nations. People bring knowledge from all over the world. There are a lot of things we know. But is it possible that with all this knowledge, there’s something important that we don’t know, that we should know? Centuries ago God made this promise: “I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.” What would our great nation be like if we really knew God?
