June 17, 2018: Father’s Day As told to us by Pastor Tim Schwindt, about his father. My dad. My dad was the one who encouraged me to try harder if I didn’t do well in school. My dad was the one who showed me what it means to respect my mom. My dad was the one who taught me to stand up against bullying, especially if it was for someone else. My dad was the one who told me I could be everything I was created to be. And now, my dad is the one who brags about being MY dad. If you’re a dad, do you remember how you felt when you were first told you were going to be a dad? What was the funniest thing you did when you first became a dad?
