We Are Gateway

Have you noticed that many people seem distracted nowadays? Sometimes it’s the person sitting at the stoplight at the front of the line of cars. Sometimes it’s a friend or family member or co-worker. You’re talking to them, and they’re just not listening, not paying attention, their focus is elsewhere, and you get the feeling that what you’re saying doesn’t even matter because they didn’t really hear you at all. Now, think about the word “prayer”. You know, talking to God. Is it real? Does it matter? Sure it does, IF someone is listening. Some people think prayer is a magic wand, or a fire extinguisher, or a tug of war with God, or just a ritual. But really, what is prayer? Should I pray? Why? How? What? Will God hear it? Will He answer? What if He doesn’t? For the next few weeks, we will take a good look at all of these questions and more!
