December 3 - 24 Christmas – it’s a time when people get together with friends and family possibly more than any other time of the year. And yet it’s a time when many people are more lonely than any other time of the year. It’s the time when people experience discouragement, conflict, sorrow and uncertainty more than ever. This is the reality of our world, our society, our lives. So, what do people need most at Christmastime? More gifts? More parties? More carols? More eggnog? We believe what we really need at Christmas is community – a place where we can experience hope for discouragement, peace for conflict, joy for sorrow, and faith for uncertainty.
