Life has fears and risks. We face them every single day. We are walking in uncertain times; hysteria and reports in our media that cause worry, fear, or stress. The wind and waves crashed around them. In one moment, Jesus stood up and calmed the squall. The questions of Jesus in their storm and ours is “Why are you afraid?” The disciples were ALL afraid. It’s human nature to be afraid in a crisis! Too often, we live as the disciples and exclude God, allowing ourselves to live in fear. It’s not the absence of storms that make us different, it’s the ONE we discover in the boat. To get through tough times, we must focus. Our perspective can show us an obstacle or an opportunity.
