River Of Life - Cold Spring

The reason why we are doing a Holy Spirit series is because we all come from different backgrounds. Everyone has their own “normal,” but “normal” is different from someone else’s normal. This happens because we were all raised differently. Our current series, “Guide for the Journey,” provides teaching about the Holy Spirit us all to get on the same page. In the Bible, we learn that the Jewish tradition has 7 festivals / holidays in a year to celebrate. This week, we learned about three of these holidays. The Passover Celebration represents our salvation. The Story of Jesus is the redemption of our sins. Next, we talk about the Celebration of Pentecost. Pentecost was a celebration of the first harvest where we receive the Holy Spirit. The day of Pentecost gave us the power to make a difference in our world. Finally, we learned about the Cele
