Everywhere we look in the Christmas story we find someone giving generously. The Magi give gold. The angels give glory to God. Joseph gives his heart to Mary and her child. Mary gives birth to Jesus. God gives his son. Even the gospel is a story of Jesus giving his life for us. Their gifts were more than objects or words. Their gifts were life-giving.
