"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us" (Hebrews 12:1). We are not the first ones to run this race. In this series, we will look at people of uncommon faith and see how they would encourage us. The world we live in is different than theirs, but our hearts are not. They have lessons to teach us as they cheer us on from the grandstands of heaven.
