The message of Ephesians is that many peoples are reunited as one family with one God and Father over all. We believe God is inviting us into this study to give us a deeper vision for unity, diversity, and maturity in our church. Chapters 1 - 3 Receiving Union with God and Union with One Another Chapters 4- 6 Living Union with God and Union with One Another In the family of God, we live lives of union not division. Maturity is living in unity like our Father and Jesus our brother. Unity is a sign of maturity and unity is impossible without maturity. This is not a new destination, but a new part of the journey. It’s somewhere that we haven’t been but it’s where we have been going. We’re bringing clarity to that. Why are we focusing on diversity? 1. Because everyone is invited to be adopted into the family of God 2. Because everyone in the family of God is a brother or sister 3. Because unity in diversity brings a sacramental gospel witness. 4.
