The bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." The word depart means to “turn off.” This is powerful be-cause no matter what the child is doing, this verse promises us that the child will not be able to "turn off" the Godly counsel that the parent gave them.
