Pursuing a congruence between belief and action is necessary for living true to yourself and developing a strong and resilient spirit. The average man today pays no mind to living with integrity. He says and does whatever is expedient or convenient in the moment. He lives in a perpetual state of cognitive dissonance, never taking the time to consider his folly or the ruinous consequences it's metastasizing in his life. Our existence is a constant battle between living with integrity or cognitive dissonance.
