As we look at chapters 10-11 of 2 Samuel, we see those truths played out in King David's life, as David's seemingly private sin snowballs into an out of control situation. We find King David, a man after God's own heart, committing more sin just to cover his tracks. It ultimately costs the life of a righteous man.
