We are starting off 2021 with Disappointing Double Features where the sequel failed to live up to the prestige of its predecessor and Lauren will start us off with Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile. We discuss what made Romancing the Stone such a great film and what was lost in translation for its sequel including flat character motivations, underwhelming romantic chemistry and a poorly utilized character/plot twist.
