Bill is based in the Washington, D.C.-area, pursuing a bachelor's and master's degree in journalism at American University's School of Communication. In June 2013 he wrapped up a 16-month tour in Afghanistan covering the ISAF-led hand over of security responsibilities to the Afghan National Security Forces in the county's volatile Helmand province. Lately, his work has concentrated on the mental, physical and political cost of war through documentary photography, portraiture and video.
