Calvary Chapel Irmo

In Hebrews 12:18-29, you and I will be presented with two mountains. These mountains represent two different ways to come to God. The first is Mount Sinai and is a picture of man coming to God based on his own merit, good works, and his futile attempt to keep the law. The second is Mount Zion and it is a picture of man coming to God based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus. Two mountains, two totally different outcomes; you and I need to make sure we are going up the right mountain!
