Feeling downcast, I kneeled in my cubicle at work this am, God gave me a progression of questions and scriptural answers (that I googled later) that lifted my spirit: 1) Who is my defense/ (Psalm 94:22 – HE is) 2) Who owns vengeance? (Romans 12:19 – HE does) 3) Who’s job is payback to wrongdoers? (Colossians 3:25 – HIS job) 4) What is my role? (Exodus 14:14 – “The Lord will fight for you. You need only to stand still”). Just as I looked up Exodus 14:14, this song came on my YouTube Playlist, “This is How I Fight My Battles!” I stayed on my knees and my eyes started to get watery… I am so loved God. It also reminded me of our current series on the Lord’s Prayer. THAT is how I choose to fight my battles.
