This is the best-loved and best-known Psalm of all. It speaks of the loving guidance of the Good Shepherd, Jesus. Its a supernatural in that it brings peace, calm and great assurance to one who meditates on these verses. Why? Because we are reminded here that we are beloved sheep in the sovereign care of a loving Shepherd who never fails His sheep. He calls us to surrender control of our lives and allow Him to guide us in all that is best for us. It doesn’t get better than this.
